Quick and efficient check-in. Great location for both Franz Josef glacier, and glow work tunnels. Host very informative. Very close to a good restaurant (Alice May). Cottage was clean, tidy, and warm.

The hotel owners are really warm and helpful. The room is immaculate and clean. It is located near to the major attrations, shops and buses. Thanks for the great hospitality, we really enjoyed our stay and the walk/view from the glacier. - Family of 3 from Singapore who stayed on 16 Dec 24 :)

Booked a unit with 2 toilets for our group of 5 at 8 Graham Place, 10 Cottages. But we were given  a standalone unit with only 1 toilet cum shower minutes’ drive away. 3 of 5 spotlights in the living dining room were spoilt. The operator claimed to have notified the owner who has yet to arrange replacement. The place was v dim at night.

Great location, close to the action, yet tucked away and very quiet. We were in cottage number 8, no real view but very quiet and plenty of room including a kitchenette. Everything clean and in place. Door lock was a bit tricky but we handled it.

Great place to stay in Franz Joseph, close to restaurants and cafes. Comfortable bed, good shower, easy parking for our car with a bike rack. It is a lovely setting with mountain views and native birds.

The beds & pillows are generally hard. Not very comfortable to sleep on. There are also no bed heads so pillows are directly placed against the walls. Not very desirable
